YUI 2.5.0 plugin for Aptana
AJAX, javascript February 28th, 2008i recently started to learn YUI , because it has got very good documentation and community support,And there are good number of widgets already available so i don’t have to reinvent the wheel again .. but there is just a little problem, My favourite AJAX ide Aptana still doesn’t support YUI 2.5 (latest stable version supports 2.3.1) so i decided to write a plugin for YUI 2.5.0,.. and i would like to share it with all of you guys … just download the YUI 2.5.0 plugin for Aptana and drop it in the plugins folder of Aptana, and restart Aptana.
If there are any bugs please comment, i will try to fix it as soon as possible.

Is there a way for me to rename the directory structure created by the plugin. I want every YUI project to be of another structure: yui/build_2.5.0/etc… instead of lib/YahooUI/etc… ?

Thank you for your reply. I mean the aptana’s Automatic Code assist
I did this steps:
- I am using Aptana Studio 1.1 free download, not pro version.
- I copied your plugin to Aptana’s plugin folder.
- I restarted aptana and go to: Window/Prefernce/Aptana/Editors/Javascript/Code Assist. But i did not found your plugin.
I was successful with Ext 2.0 plugin.
Could you show me what is reason ?

there is no code assist profile even for YUI 2.3.0 available there,.. right ?? actually there was none provided. and i am a little busy right now to generate one. I will do it .. when i will get time.
But, in the meantime create default web project and you will see YUI 2.5.0 in “Import Javascript Library” panel, you can use that,…
